Great Wolf Lodge Attractions

The Great Wolf Lodge is more than just a hotel with an on-site indoor water park (though that combination alone promises oodles of family fun). There are plenty of attractions you can do with or without taking a dip (or cannonball) in the pool.

Indoor Waterpark Thrills and Relaxation

You can have fun in the water no matter the weather or season thanks to Great Wolf Lodge’s indoor water park. The water is kept at a comfortable 84 degrees all year round, and there are a number of different areas where kids and adults alike can enjoy splashing on sunny, rainy, or even snowy days!

Water Park Fun For Everyone

There’s Fort McKenzie, a four-story water fort treehouse. If you climbed all the way to the top and want a quick trip back to the bottom, you can body slide from Totem Tower.

If you want to get a workout at the Great Wolf Lodge, you can head to Chinook Cove to play basketball in the water playground, or challenge Big Foot Pass to try and cross the indoor pool on giant, floating lily pads. You can also battle the tides in Slap Tail Pond, a wave pool that surges every five minutes.

Lazy River and More!

If you wear yourself out, you can rest up on the Crooked Creek lazy river for as long as you like.  Or – if you’re looking for a higher octane raft trip – you can pop over to River Canyon Run where the whole family can test its twists, turns, dips, and curves. You can also relax in one of the hot tubs. The South Hot Springs is open to guests of all ages, while the North Hot Springs is an area where adults can unwind and experience the benefits of a soak in a hot tub without the kids.

Water Slide Excitement

For water slide enthusiasts, there are several options.

Alberta Falls is a tandem tube ride, four stories high, that you can ride together with your kids. If you’re a true thrill seeker, there’s the massive Howlin’ Tornado – a six story plunge for four down a swirling tube that twists and turns you up the wall. For beginner thrill seekers, there’s the Whooping Hollow where toddlers can find them-sized water slides.

Speaking of thrills – you can always try out bodyboarding at the Great Wolf Lodge Wolf Rider Wipeout.

Outdoor Pool and Lagoon

Outside at Great Wolf Lodge you’ll find Raccoon Lagoon – a great place to swim and catch some sun. All pools and water attractions are monitored by lifeguards, and guests are provided life jackets when necessary, so you and your family can splash in safety. This area includes kiddie slides, fountains and water basketball.

MagiQuest

All splashed out and ready for a different kind of magic? Try out MagiQuest where the Lodge turns into a live-action game where you and your family are the heroes!

There are three different games you can play:

    1. The original MagiQuest, a fantasy adventure where you and your family use magic wands to battle dragons and recover jewels from the Goblin King.
    2. The future-based Ruse of the Totem Masters, where you use mystic figurines to summon Totem spirits to power your wand and defeat a Shadow Lord.
    3. For younger guests, there’s Mini Magi Mode that provides the same experience of opening treasures and wand-wielding (just like MagiQuest), but designed for younger children.

Once you’ve rescued the land of Velara and become a Master Magi, you can attend the daily Master Magi Ceremony to be knighted into the Order of the Magi.

The wand and the certificate that comes from the Master Magi Ceremony make for great souvenirs that your kids can bring home.
